ResourcesWhat is the Self-Exclusion Program?
The Self-Exclusion Program allows guests who may have a gaming problem or have any reason to voluntarily request that we prohibit any participation in any gaming activities at Empire City Casino or Yonkers Raceway. By completing this form guests will request voluntary self-exclusion from all gaming facilities, and entities licensed, permitted or registered by the New York State Gaming Commission. These guests will be banned from all activities on the property and are prohibited from collecting any winnings or recovering any losses. Self-excluded guests cannot receive any complimentary services or participate in our MGM Rewards campaigns or promotions
A person may have his or her own name placed on the list:
- By going to our facility and going to the Security to request and complete the necessary forms.
- By calling the Security Department at 914-968-4200 to request the appropriate forms and then bringing the completed request to our Security Office to be processed.
- By going to here and downloading the appropriate forms (Self Exclusion Information) and bringing the properly completed documents to our Security Office for processing. Or by sending the notarized forms to our Security Department by mail.
No. Placement on the list is entirely voluntary and must be done by the individual seeking exclusion.
That is up to the person making the request. He or she may choose the length of time that he or she wants to be excluded – one year, three years, five years or for a lifetime.
Any individual who has been excluded for one, three or five years, may ask to have his or her name removed from the Self-Exclusion List after the term of the original request has expired. To have your gaming privileges reinstated, individuals should contact the Director of Security.
Once a name has been added to the list, the request and the information submitted will be shared with the New York State Gaming Commission who will share it with all gaming facilities in the State.
